Like the original Fire Forged iron, the Fire Forged 2 features a deep under-cut cavity to move the center of gravity down and back from the face-modifications that aid in higher trajectory. The addition of the tungsten sole weight and strong Custom 455 face material further aid in the design's ability to produce high, powerful, and accurate shots.

The next generation of ultimate forgiveness-Fire Forged 2 irons are a true innovation of iron design. Constructed of three separate pieces that work in concert, Fire Forged 2 irons provide supreme forgiveness, high trajectory and a powerfully hot and solid feel. The body is precision cast from 17-4 stainless steel and offers a comfortable midsize appearance with thick toplines and a perimeter-weighted, deep under-cut cavity. The face is crafted separately using Carpenter Steel's Custom 455 to yield a thin 2.4mm face thickness. The Custom 455 is 50% stronger than 17-4 stainless steel permitting the thin design that delivers a crisp, powerful feel at impact and explosive distance. The tungsten sole weight accentuates the deep under-cut cavity design and positions more mass low for a lower center gravity and higher shot trajectory-especially beneficial in the long irons.
